About Alex A. Serrano
Alex A. Serrano was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where he attended local St. Lawrence Catholic School and graduated from Tampa Catholic High School. In high school, Alex was active in numerous sports, including Basketball, Soccer, Track, and Cross-Country, held student government positions, and graduated with a Bright Futures Scholarship. Following high school, Alex moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where he attended Florida State University. With an eye on attending Law School, Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with minors in both English and History. At Florida State University, Alex was an active member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, FSU College Republicans, and Scalphunters, an interfraternal student organization that promotes the University’s spirit on campus. Throughout his entire undergraduate studies, Alex was a Bright Futures Scholarship recipient, and actively volunteered in several fundraising events and philanthropies, including Dance Marathon and FSU Heart Walk. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree at Florida State University, Alex went on to attend Law School at Barry University. While attending Barry, Alex was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity; he obtained Book Awards in Drafting Wills and Trusts and Land Use Planning for receiving the highest grade in the respective courses; and he was an active volunteer at the Conductive Education Center of Orlando, a non-profit center that works to enhance the independence of children with motor disabilities. Alex is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards, he is a member of the Florida Justice Association, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, has received recognition by America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys for Southern Florida, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Over the years, Alex has represented numerous clients for all personal injury matters, including: automobile & motorcycle accidents, train crashes, premises liability cases, and wrongful death actions.
