About Anthony Rubino
Anthony Rubino was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Palmetto Senior High School in 1989. He went to college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, graduating in 1993. After college, Mr. Rubino entered law school and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1996. He then took and passed both the California and Florida Bar Exams and relocated back to Miami in 1997. Once in Miami, he began his criminal law career at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office under Bennett Brummer. During his 4½ years at the Public Defender’s office he worked in Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Traffic, Misdemeanor Crimes and numerous Felony Court divisions where he handled literally thousands of cases. This broad spectrum allowed Mr. Rubino to gain great knowledge of the vast criminal law arena. While working at the PD Office, Mr. Rubino also formed many valuable friendships with fellow attorneys, prosecutors, judges, clerks, bailiffs, corrections officers, probation officers and judicial assistants that continue to be of great benefit to his practice today. After leaving the PD Office in December of 2001, Mr. Rubino then went to work for his father, Frank Rubino, who is a very well-known criminal defense attorney in Miami. While there, he learned the ‘business side’ of criminal law and also polished his skills in aiding his father in the defense of many high profile clients. After two years with his father, Mr. Rubino started his own practice in January of 2004. Today, Mr. Rubino has a remarkable boutique criminal law practice. Mr. Rubino has achieved the distinction of being rated as an AV Preeminent lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell with a perfect 5.0 out of 5.0 rating.
