About Brian Frank LaBovick
I was admitted to the Florida Bar and the Federal Bar in 1990. In 1993, I was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida and to the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. My work has earned me "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. The AV rating is the highest rank conferred by Martindale-Hubbell and reflects both professional ability and high ethical standards. In 2007, I was named a Super Lawyer® in 2007 by Super Lawyers Magazine. In 2011 I was selected by my peer as one of 2% of attorneys as a part of the Florida Elite Attorneys. After graduating with a degree in Philosophy from the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1987, I went to the University of Miami School of Law in Florida, to pursue a Law Degree. I was selected as one of two University of Miami graduates for the Prestigious Order of the Barrister Award. Upon graduation, I was invited to join the United States Department of Justice in their Honor Graduate Program. The only method of working for the USDOJ without legal experience is through the Honor Grad program and it is highly competitive. I began my legal career here in 1990. In 1991, I established a solo practice in Coral Gables, Florida. Initially, the firm was a General Practice and handled various types of cases, including civil, commercial, and criminal cases, securities litigation, bankruptcy, and dissolution of marriage. In 1993, I relocated the firm to Palm Beach County and renamed the firm, LaBovick & LaBovick, P.A. after my wife, Esther Uria LaBovick, left Janet Reno's State Attorney Office and joined me as a partner in the firm. LaBovick & LaBovick, P.A. became a Plaintiff Personal Injury firm for approximately five years. The firm grew in size and reputation and with the addition of partners we added a number of other legal specialties. We now are considered one of the premier boutique firms able to handle all your legal needs. It is our honor and pleasure to serve our clients.
