About Denise Marlene Tamir
A member of the Florida Bar since 1995, Denise Tamir is a certified circuit civil and family mediator. She earned her BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and her JD from Nova Southeastern University. Before Law School, she served as a claims manager for Consumer Insurance Group in Miami Lakes and Paralegal for Leesfield & Partners where she cultivated a passion for law. After her admission to the Florida Bar, she returned to Leesfield & Partners as a personal injury attorney until taking a hiatus to raise her two daughters. Denise has also served on the boards of many community organizations including Beth Torah Synagogue (Vice President); the Greater Miami Jewish Federation-North Dade Branch (Cabinet); The Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center; the Friends of the Hillel Community Theatre, which she co-founded; The American Friends of Meir Medical Center, which she founded and still serves as a member of the national board of directors; and she founded and currently chairs the JCC’s new Cultural Arts Theatre (J-CAT) program for middle school and high school students in North Miami Beach.
