About Kim Suzanne Seace
After graduating from Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1992, I immediately fulfilled my dream of becoming a Prosecutor. I served for sixteen years as an Assistant State Attorney right here in Tampa, Florida. I worked hard and moved up the ranks to become a Felony Division Chief responsible for thousands of criminal cases and training and supervising hundreds of young prosecutors. I prosecuted over 7,000 cases during the course of my prosecution career including every type of crime from DUI, Domestic Violence Battery, Drug Possession, Burglary, Theft, Trafficking in Illegal Drugs, Robbery, Carjacking, Felon In Possession of a Firearm, Aggravated Child Abuse, Aggravated Battery, Attempted Murder, DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, to First Degree Murder. I personally litigated over 200 Non-Jury Trials and over 100 Jury Trials. I supervised attorneys responsible for thousands of felony cases. In January of 2004, I took on the task of creating and supervising the first Traffic Homicide Unit in Hillsborough County. For the next five years, I specialized in prosecuting traffic homicides, in fact I handled every traffic homicide that occurred in Hillsborough County. My caseload included hundreds of cases involving DUI Manslaughter, No Valid Driver's License with Death, Vehicular Homicide, Leaving the Scene with Death, Manslaughter, and First Degree Murder. In 2008, I left the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office at the pinacle of my prosecution career to begin my own law practice specializing in criminal defense. I formed Kim Seace P.A. and fulfilled my next big dream of running my own law firm. I look forward to putting all my training, knowledge, and experience to work for you in your case.
