About La'Rae Holling Hendrix
La'Rae is a well respected family law attorney practicing in Clay, Duval, St. Johns and Nassau counties. She has a unique ability to see the big picture and is often able to find creative solutions where not always apparent. La'Rae's experience in Collaborative Law as well as traditional litigation methods, gives her the skills necessary to think outside the box and resolve legal disputes. La'Rae is a member of the Florida Family Law Inn of Court, the Jacksonville Bar Association, Clay County Bar Association, St. Johns Bar Association, and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. As a true measure of her commitment to the betterment of families in the State of Florida, La'Rae was the 2010 honored recipient of The Honorable Lamar Winegeart, Jr. Pro Bono Service Award for her voluntary legal aid services to the residents of the local community. Before opening her firm in 2004, La'Rae worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit prosecuting misdemeanor and domestic violence cases, as an insurance defense attorney with the firm of Cameron, Hodges, Coleman, LaPointe and Wright, and she worked with Children's Legal Services, representing the State of Florida in Dependency Court. La'Rae is a graduate of Jacksonville University, and received her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2001, graduating 4th in her class. She is the proud wife a 30 year career U. S. Navy veteran and the mother of a Florida Air National Guardsmen. All these experiences, coupled with her thoughtful listening skills, solution-oriented legal approach, tenacity, drive and compassion, makes her well-suited to help clients develop a viable strategy to resolve their legal issues.
