About Shelly Renea Steiner
Ms. Steiner graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from Valparaiso University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in law in 2006. While attending Valparaiso University School of Law, Ms. Steiner was an editor of the law school’s Law Review. Her Law Review note, entitled Incentive Conditions: The Validity of Innovative Financial Parenting by Passing Along Wealth and Values, was selected to be published in the Valparaiso University Law Review in 2006. After receiving her law degree, Ms. Steiner practiced law as an associate attorney in downtown Chicago at Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, which is a large law firm of over 400 attorneys. While at Barnes and Thornburg, Ms. Steiner focused her practice in the areas of business law, estate planning, non-profits and real estate. In 2013, Ms. Steiner founded Steiner Law Offices, PLLC , in Lakewood Ranch, Florida focusing her practice on estate planning, probate, contracts and business law. Ms. Steiner is a member of the Florida Bar, the Sarasota Bar Association, and Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and regularly speaks to groups on estate-planning related matters. Ms. Steiner takes pride in offering her clients high quality representation, personalized service and reasonable prices. Prior to her law career, Attorney Shelly R. Steiner earned her Bachelors of Science degree in education with honors (Cum Laude) from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1999. She also earned her degree from Ball State University's Honors College. Ms. Steiner was a middle school and high school math teacher for several years in Indiana and Chicago prior to attending law school. Ms. Steiner currently lives in the Sarasota area with her husband, twin daughters, and golden doodle. She enjoys golfing, playing tennis, kayaking and spending time with her family.
