About Thomas Andrew Player
My practice includes business and entertainment law transactions, litigation, and appeals in all Florida state courts. I am a member of The Florida Bar, current Chair of the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law section, and a member of the Business Law and Appellate Practice sections. I am also a member of the American Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, and The Grammy® Awards (The Recording Academy). I have been recognized by my peers multiple times as one of Florida Trend magazine's Florida Legal Elite, and as the number one entertainment attorney in Central Florida for the Orlando Business Journal's Annual "Best of the Bar." I have lectured at continuing legal education seminars for the Florida Justice Association, The Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section, the Nova Southeastern University Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium, and for 15 years was a panelist, sponsor, and host for the Florida Music Festival’s music industry conferences. I also guest-lecture at Florida A&M Law School, Barry Law School, the University of Central Florida, and Full Sail University. I play bass guitar and did so professionally for many years. My experiences as a professional musician have given me considerable insight into the music business and an appreciation of the industry from the musician’s perspective. My entertainment clients include local, national, and worldwide artists, multi-platinum musicians and producers, Grammy® winners, and members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
