About Zachary Phillip Morrison
Zach Morrison, a Criminal Defense Attorney at Franchi Law, originally comes from Le Roy, Illinois. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Wesleyan where he received Academic All-American honors in Track and Field. In 2015, Zach relocated to Florida where he attended Stetson University School of Law. He graduated from Stetson University School of Law in 2018. During law school, Zach was stand-out member of Stetson's #1 nationally ranked Trial Team. During his time as a member, the team won several national awards. He started his career as a Prosecutor in Pinellas County, a position he held for three years. During his tenure, he worked in the Misdemeanor Division, Domestic Violence Division, Violation of Probation division, and Felony divisions. Under the leadership of Bernie McCabe and Bruce Bartlett, Zach handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from simple misdemeanors such as DUI, domestic battery, and drug charges to violent felonies such as murder. Zach has tried over 25 criminal cases in front of a jury. Inspired by his first hand experience as a prosecutor, Zach decided to switch his role in the criminal justice system. Zach saw the compassion and time it takes to represent people and make the best out of the worst possible situations. Zach stands in the corner with those that feel like nobody else will. He has seen firsthand the stress the criminal justice system can cause on people and their families and is ready to guide people through that process through his work at Franchi Law. He is admitted to all state courts in Florida.
